2009 became the Øresund Bridge’s first profitable year with profits of DKK 73 million before value adjustment. The explanation is largely owing to the fact that interest expenses fell by 13 per cent owing to low inflation coupled with Europe’s low interest rate levels. At the same time, road revenue was maintained at 2008 levels.
